IT System Analyst – Core banking system   Full time

Our client is the IT delivery center of a major financial institution, that provides solutions in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) area in order to respond quickly and effectively both to the requests of the Bank and of the clients external to the Bank in 10+ CEE countries.

They are looking for an experienced professional for the below role:

IT System Analyst – Core banking system

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the development and testing phase of the Core banking system
• Write technical specifications to the required development of banking software
• Create and use UML class and state machine diagrams
• Review and validate the low-level design
• Technical support of business analysts during specification and parameterization
• Collaborate with internal developers
• Participate in system test planning and functional tests
• Perform a technical QA role for the technical specifications and coding
• Provide reports to Technical and Business Engagement managers on project actions
• Deliver technical training to local IT staff on the core banking system

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in similar role (IT System Analyst/IT Business Analyst/Technical Analyst roles)
• Experience in software development projects
• Knowledge of AS/400 environment, RPG languages, SQL database
• Experience of working with banking products and banking software packages
• Experience of design software and writing Technical Specifications for developers
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Fluent English knowledge
• University or Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Project Management, Economics
• Experience with project management is beneficial for the role
• Knowledge in webservices, XML technologies and SQL are also nice to have
